Ford Vehicle Communication & Measurement Module (VCMM) Advanced Kit
The Ford Vehicle Communication & Measurement Module (VCMM) is Ford’s advanced OEM diagnostic and measurement platform for supported Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Unlike a standard vehicle communication interface, the VCMM combines vehicle-network communication with professional electrical, vibration, and physical measurement capabilities in one integrated diagnostic tool.
Ford designed the VCMM to combine the functionality of the VCM II, Vehicle Measurement Module (VMM), and MTS 4000/4100 vibration analyzer. When used with supported Ford diagnostic software, it can perform dealership-level vehicle diagnostics while also providing oscilloscope, digital multimeter, current, pressure, vibration, signal-generation, and driveline-analysis functions.
The Advanced Kit adds the hardware required for supported driveline balance procedures, making it especially useful for technicians diagnosing vibration, driveline, electrical, ignition, charging-system, and other complex vehicle concerns.
